APRIL 2012:
PLATT C OF E SCHOOL CENTENARY: The school has just secured funding for their grand centenary mosaic.
This is an ambitious three panel project which will be easily visible from the road. I will be
joining forces with the children of Platt C of E School to design and make a mosaic celebrating
school and village life.
EASTER 2012:
NEW ADULT POTTERY CLASS! To meet popular demand I will be starting a second group after Easter 2012,
on Tuesday afternoons from 12.30-3pm. Some places still
available.
CHRISTMAS 2011:
This year we broke with tradition and supported two charities in our Christmas fundraising. Artworks
provided the materials and children created and bought key-rings and fridge magnets. We raised
£170 for Medecins Sans Frontieres
and £120 for Water Aid

OCTOBER 2011:
Borough Green Primary celebrated its centenary and I had the great pleasure of working with the
children to design and create a fabulous centenary mosaic. The mayor Brian Luker joined children,
staff, distinguished guests and myself to unveil the work of art. All of the 180 children in key
stage 2 contributed to the mosaic. See www.thisiskent.co.
